How to Check Your 2023 KCSE Results Online (KNEC Portal)

On Monday, the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) released the 2023 KCSE results. Unlike in previous years, candidates cannot access the 2023 KCSE results through an SMS code. Instead, students can check their results on the KNEC’s portal.

In 2023, CS Machogu, the Cabinet Secretary for Education, revealed that the Ministry was considering discontinuing SMS service, primarily due to errors observed during the release of the 2023 KCPE exam results.

Previously, checking a candidate’s KCSE results via SMS code had been very costly, sometimes costing up to KES 25 airtime per SMS request.
